Romeo and Juliet

Ромео и Джульетта

William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet is a romance staple, making its appearance in the Bolshoi Ballet’s Repertoire. The tale of star-crossed lovers, the passionate and emotional choreography, and Sergei Prokofiev’s famous score, make the ballet a true classic of the 20th century Repertoire.

Alexei Ratmansky’s new version of Romeo and Juliet was performed in the Bolshoi Theatre and recorded for Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema, with Ekaterina Krysanova and Vladislav Lantratov dancing the title roles.
